Session on creation of Facebook pageby Resource person SL Faisal was very helpful for the creation Library Facebok page.
The first session of the day was taken by Ms. Neeza Singh, librarian, TS Central State Library Chandigarh. While she shared with us different activities at the children's library, she also exhibited the children's creative works. It was very informative and inspirational with all the innovative ideas which could be adopted by each of us librarians. The session was followed by a post test .
After lunch, the participants along with resource persons visited the T S Central State library. We were welcomed warmly by Ms.Neeza Singh and her team. She guided us to different sections of the library from where we could observe the library's highlights. One among them was the children's library with colourful paintings on the walls, stuffed toys and age appropriate books. Reading and play area for toddlers were very attractive with age appropriate books
Reading and play area for the toddlers were very attractive. We visited reference section, adult library section, news paper reading section etc. The visit was efficacious and really helpful in practically upgrading our professional skills.
Session I on Class Library Set up as per KVS Library Policy by Mr. Vipin Kumar, Training Assistant, ZIET Chandigarh

Online session taken by Fullbright scholarship Winner and resource person shared his experience about the changing user need of International Libraries. Changing role of Libraries as a creative space, a place to develop critical thinking and problem solving skill, facilitate opportunities for collaboration and community engagement. Give ideas to develop Digital collection.
Session I on Action Research conducted by Mr. Tejinder Singh, Trained Assistant, KV ZIET Chandigarh, briefed us about Basic action Research cycle, Action research for classroom teachers, SWOT Analysis. Session II on Work ethics taken by Mr. Rajeev Ranjan, trained Assistant, enlighten us with the ten essential work of Ethics such as Attendance, Co-operation, Character, communication, Respect, Productivity, Organizational skill, Appearance, Team Work, Attitude, Interpersonal skill etc. Activity orientation based on Rumor cleaning was very helpful in understanding and finding out the real facts before action. Tips on embedding different google tools was very helpful for us to publish our works in Blog
Session on IPR and Copyright conducted by Prof. Rupak Chakravarthy, Punjab University detailed us about the Intellectual Property Rights , Patents, Economic Rights, Copy Right act1957, Fair use and its Clause.The session was fruitful to understand about the Copyright and Open Licensing,Creative Commons and how to access information using Open Education resources safely.
Interactive session on career Guidance by the Training Assistant Dr. Anupam S Prakash helped us to know about various fields in Career development and the role of Librarians in providing guidance.

The Team Bibliophile presented a wonderful Morning assembly with a Special item on Book review . Different way of introducing a book was presented by Mr. shafi, Librarian KV Calicut. An Effective Session on Flagship Programmes in KVS taken by Assistant commissioner Mr. Jugal Kishore.The SEsseion detailed how a librarian can associate with Various stages of Elementary Education. During the second Session all the participants were facilitated to witness our Prime Minister's Pariksha pe Charcha Programme. Exam related stress management, implementing multi language, how can an average student face exm, how teachers can nurture their students effectively were discussed. Afternoon Session we had our Mid Test. Session four was hands on session on Wakelet by Mr. Faisal Resource person and a short session focusing html language was taken by Mr. adesh Kumar, resource person.
ZIET KVS Chandigarh witnessed an elegant celebration of 74th Republic Day celebration. The Deputy commissioner hoisted the National Flag followed by national anthem and Flag song . Director adressed the gathering and distributed sweets.
The Session started with the morning assembly presented by the team VIBRARIAN followed by cultural activities in connection with republic day celebration by the participants of 21 days in-service course for librarian.
An Open discussion was started by the Deputy Commissioner for presenting two innovative ideas for the generating Nationality among the new generations. All the Participants shared their innovative ideas. It was really a brainstorming session.
The Day begins with the Special Assembly Highlighting the Importance of National Girl Child Day by the team "Bibliothica". An Informative Session on Open Educational Resources taken by Mr. Adesh Kumar, Resource Person helps us to get awareness on various open aducational resources like Open store, OLC, OER Commons, Open Educational Consortium etc.
Session II on Life Skills by the Training assistant , Mr. Ranjeet empowers the participants with the Importance of inculcating 21st Life Skills in Children and their Education.
Afternoon Session started with the Demonstrative presentation of seven selected participants on various topic. Almost all the session was very useful. All the participants had a thorough research on their topic and effectively presented it.
Morning Assembly on the Special Theme" Parakram Diwas "was presented by the team Enlighters . The Session I on Planning and creation of Digital Library using Greenstone Stone software taken by Dr. Neeraj Deputy Librarian, AC Joshi Library , University of Punjab was very informative and help us to learn about the proper planning, Creation and implementation of Digital Library.
Session II On the Topic "NCPCR and POCSO Act"conducted by the Training Assistant given us an insight into the duties and responsibility of a teacher to protect the childrens from Child Abuse.
Afternoon Session, all participants were facilitated to visit AC Joshi Library, University of Punjab. The Visit help us to explore various Sections of the Library like Circulation , Acquisition, Accessioning, Cataloguing, RFID Technology etc.
First Session on Cyber Safety and Security by Dr. Puneet Mudgil was very helpful to know about the Cyber Threats and security from the perspective of Client.
Demonstrative Session on Canva was taken by Mr. Muhammed Shafi. The Session helped us to know the user friendly platform for the creation of Newsletter, Poster, Videos , Banner etc.
Mrs. Sreena, Librarian from KV SAP Trivandrum shared her ideas with her Innovative Work "Knowledge Weekly" A weekly Magazine created by her for the School with the help of Canva. Really the Session helped all the librarians to design and promote Library activities.
