Day 16 Learning 31.01.2023

Session on IPR and Copyright conducted by Prof. Rupak Chakravarthy, Punjab University detailed us about the Intellectual Property Rights , Patents, Economic Rights, Copy Right act1957, Fair use and its Clause.The session was fruitful to understand about the Copyright and Open Licensing,Creative Commons and how to access information using Open Education resources safely.  

Interactive session on career Guidance by the Training Assistant Dr. Anupam S Prakash helped us to know about various fields in Career development and the role of Librarians in providing guidance.

Day 15 Learning 30.01.2023

In the First session Mr Sunil Saini, Course Cordinator given ideas for the formation of Book Club and how it can be used as a tool to improve widespread reading among students as per the guidelines of NEP 2020. 

Interactive Session  on New trends in Library and Information Science was discussed by Mr Neeraj Kumar Singh, Deputy Librarian, Punjab University. the session helped us to know about Emerging Trend and Technologies in Library and Information Science. After Lunch Demo Presentation by 8 learned Colleague on various topics.

All Session were very useful and interactive and helped us with innovative ideas to inculcate the reading habits of students. Last Session all the Committees were facilitated  to conduct  meeting  for the successful implementation of  upcoming events.  

 

Day 14 Learning 29.01.2023

 The team "Ignited Minds" presented very good morning assembly 

Session I Started with lecture on Artificial Intelligence by Dr.Puneet Mudgil . We learned about different tools of Artificial intelligence like Copy.ai, Chat GPT,tome.app, Dall.e app , Open ai etc . it was very interactive and useful for us .

Use of social media for library is one more informative topic discussed by Mr Faisal. Session helps to give ideas to promote our library and its activities using the various social media platform like  Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc 

Post Lunch Session we had Demo by 8 Participants on Various topics

Day 13 Learning 28.01.2023

We went on an excursion today. The Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, and Rose Garden were among the places we visited. 

Rock garden is one of the most unique places I have ever seen. It's an amazing architecture. 

Day12 Learning 27.01.2023

"A Day of  Mid test and Parksha Pe Charcha "

The Team Bibliophile presented a wonderful Morning assembly with a Special item on Book review . Different  way of introducing a book was presented by Mr. shafi, Librarian KV Calicut. An Effective Session on Flagship Programmes in KVS  taken by Assistant commissioner Mr. Jugal Kishore.The SEsseion detailed how  a librarian can associate with Various stages of Elementary Education. During the second  Session all the participants were facilitated to witness our Prime Minister's Pariksha pe Charcha Programme. Exam related stress management, implementing multi language, how can an average student face exm, how teachers can nurture their students effectively were discussed. Afternoon Session we had our Mid Test. Session four was  hands on session on Wakelet by Mr. Faisal Resource person and a short session focusing html language was taken by Mr. adesh Kumar, resource person. 

Day 11 Learning 26.01.2023

 ZIET KVS Chandigarh witnessed an elegant celebration of 74th Republic Day celebration. The Deputy commissioner hoisted the National Flag followed by national anthem and Flag song . Director adressed the gathering and distributed sweets. 

The Session started with the morning assembly presented by the team VIBRARIAN followed by cultural activities in connection with republic day celebration by the participants of 21 days in-service course for librarian. 

An Open discussion was started by the Deputy Commissioner for presenting two innovative ideas for the generating Nationality among the new generations. All the Participants shared their innovative ideas. It was really a brainstorming session. 

Session II on Inclusive Education by the  Deputy Commissioner covered Concepts of Inclusive Education, Importance of Inclusive education and identifying and different types of learning difficulties. 

After Lunch Demonstrative Session on creating E-book using Book creator has been taken by Mrs. Jyothi, Librarian KV Kalpetta, Ernakulam Region. The Session was very helpful for all the librarians to create E-books and learned to give assignments to the students for the collection development using the creativity of the children.  

All the session was very useful for the personal and professional development of the Librarians.

Day 10 Learning 25.01.2023

The Energetic Team RRR showed an elegant presentation of Morning assembly. Associate Director of ZIET Chandigarh appreciated the Technological skill of the team in using various tools for the effective presentation. First session on the topic "Effective Communication skill by the Technical assistant Mrs. Aparna helped us in learning how to develop our communication skill effectively with the help of different fun activities. Session II  on the Topic " Sexual Harassment of women at Workplace taken by Jugal Kishore, Assistant Commissioner, KVS RO Chandigarh guided as with Internal Complaint Committee, Local Complaint Committee and Articles on Rights of Women.

 Afternoon Session started with the Demo Topic presentation by 9 Participants on different topics. 

All the sections were informative , we got innovative ideas for implementing in Library. 

Last session participants were allowed to Practice in the lab and help in updating our work.

Day 9 Learning 24.01.2023

 The Day begins with the Special Assembly Highlighting the Importance of National Girl Child Day by the team "Bibliothica". An Informative Session on Open Educational Resources taken by Mr. Adesh Kumar, Resource Person  helps us to get awareness on various open aducational resources like Open store, OLC, OER Commons, Open Educational Consortium etc. 

Session II on Life Skills  by the Training assistant , Mr. Ranjeet empowers the participants with the Importance of inculcating 21st Life Skills in Children and their Education.

Afternoon Session started with the Demonstrative presentation of seven selected participants on various topic. Almost all the session was very useful. All the participants had a thorough research on their topic and effectively presented it. 

Day 8 Learning

 Morning Assembly on the Special Theme" Parakram Diwas "was presented by the team Enlighters . The Session I on Planning and creation of Digital Library using Greenstone Stone software taken by Dr. Neeraj Deputy Librarian, AC Joshi Library , University of Punjab was very informative and help us to learn about the proper planning, Creation and implementation of Digital Library.

Session II On the Topic "NCPCR and POCSO Act"conducted by the Training Assistant given us an insight into the duties and responsibility of a teacher to protect the childrens from Child Abuse.  

Afternoon Session, all participants were facilitated to visit AC Joshi Library, University of Punjab. The Visit help us to explore various Sections of the Library like Circulation , Acquisition, Accessioning, Cataloguing, RFID Technology etc. 

Day 7 Learning 22.01.2023

 

Day 7 started with a Wonderful Morning Assembly by the team "Ignited Minds". Deputy Commissioner gave insight into the Value of Prayer in our life, how it helps in the mental and physical fitness. Correct way of Presenting Pledge was also discussed. Sir also instructed the participants to Understand the basic concept of Learning and appeal to transform along with learning.

First Session on Cyber Safety and Security  by Dr. Puneet Mudgil was very helpful to know about the Cyber Threats and security from the perspective of Client.

Demonstrative Session on Canva  was taken by Mr. Muhammed Shafi. The Session  helped us to know the user friendly platform for the creation of Newsletter, Poster, Videos , Banner etc. 

Mrs. Sreena, Librarian from KV SAP Trivandrum shared her ideas with her Innovative Work "Knowledge Weekly" A weekly Magazine created by her for the School with the help of Canva. Really the Session helped all the librarians to design and promote Library activities.

Day 6 Learning 21.01.2023

 

Day 6 Started with wonderful Presentation of Morning Assembly By the  team "Bibliophile".

 Session I on the Topic " Changing role of School Library and librarians " conducted by  Mr. Faisal ,guided us to know the Goals and Roles of school Librarian. We Learned that Librarian should be in the role of teacher, Librarian, Instruction partner, Information Specialist, Program Administrator etc. 

Second Session on Stress Management  by Dr. Manoj K Bajaj, clinical Psychologist, GMCH-32, Chandigarh gave confidence for all the participants to improve the Mental well Being and Manage Work Stress. 

Creation of Newsletter using the Office tool Microsoft Publisher taken by Mr. Adesh Kumar helped us to create Newsletter and guided us add link to  publish in Library Blog. 

 

Day 5 Learning 20.01.2023

 Day 5 started with Morning assembly by the Vibrant Team. Sunil Saini Course Coordinator Started Session I with a handful of fresh ideas for the School Library Key Factors of Valued Librarians, New Standards for the library, Key Factors of Good Library and Interesting Library activities were discussed in the class. 

Session II was an Interactive and Energetic Session about Personality Development. Session help us to learn about Self Realisation , Self Interest, Dealing with Inner and External Feeling 

Demonstrative Session on Wakelet by Resource Person helped us to create a Virtual Library using Content Curation tool Wakelet. The Class really Helped us to deveop our technical skill.

Day 4 Learning 19.01.2023

 Day 4 Learning started with Morning Assembly by the team RRR. They used Canva, Readbooks, Spotlight tools for the Effective presentation of the Program 

Session I started with an interesting Quizz on Quizziz on NEP 2020 and Egranthalaya. An Effective Session NEP2020 :Role of School Library and Librarian was taken by Mr Sunil Saini, Course Cordinator.

An interactive and Informative Session on Web-tools to create a Virtual Library Space was conducted by Mr. S L Faisal, Resource Person and Technosavy.

Various Online Open Access tools for the Effective use of Library Resources and for the Promjotion and reaching out to the fingertio of the Children were discussed in the Session. It was really an Interesting Session for our Professional Development.

Afternoon Session We had a Demonsration on Creation of Audio Library using Sound Cloud and Creation of Mobile Library using link Tree was conducted by Mr. Faisal . 

All the Sessions are very useful for the Professional Development

Day 3 Learning 18.01.2023

 Day 3 starts with the morning assembly by the team "Bibliothica". Team presented the entire program with the help of Blog. Resource Person appreciate the efforts taken by the team

 Interactive and Motivational Session on Librarian as a Leader has been taken by the Deputy Commissioner and Director, ZIET Mr. Mukesh Kumar. Librarian's role as a Leader, duties and Responsibilities, quality of a leader, Types of Leadership etc were discussed in the Session. It was really a Brainstorming session.

Session II was taken by Mr. Tharun Guest Lecture onattitude and Aptitude of Librarians. It was an Interactive session. 

After Lunch Break Quiz was conducted using quizziz app. 

Session III on EG3 and EG4 was taken by Course Cordinator Mr. Sunil Saini. Session helped the participants to clarify the doubts and Problems faced by the Librarians while using egranthalaya. It was really a useful session. 

 Demonstrative session on Creation of blog using Wordpress was taken by Mr.S L Faisal.the session was really useful for the Librarians who are not familiar with it. 

Day 2 Learning 17.01.2023

Day 2 started with Morning assembly by Team Igniters with the thought "Pustakalay me hi sare sansar ka sampurn Satya gyan bhara rahata hai". Shri SL Faizal ,Resource Person. Session gives an Insight into the Effective Implementation of Library Policy, for the Development and Proper utilization of Library resources in the First Session.

Session II on School safety was taken by Shri Teck Chand, Course Co Director ZIET Chandigarh. Constitutional rules on Safety and Security with the help of articles was explained briefly . 

Ice Breaking Session

Demonstration class on creating Digital Portfolio using Blogger was conducted by Mr. Adesh Kumar, Resource Person. It was an Informative, Interesting and Practical Session. All the Participants are facilitated to create their own Portfolio using Blogger.

Day 1 Learning 16.01.2023

21 Days Inservice Course for Librarians started on 16.01.2023 at 9.00 am. Program was Inaugurated by Director , ZIET Chanigarh, 

Suni Saini, Course Cordinator briefed the Objectives of the Course. We had an Ice breaking Session enable us to know our Collegues from different state of India.

Afternoon Session was taken by Mr. Faisal , Resource Person. An effective session on Creation of Digital Portfolio(Individual Project) has been discussed. We were Grouped into 6 and instructed us to gave suitable name for our group. I got Group A, having 8 members. Mrs Ruchi mam is our Group Leader . We named it us "Team Igniters". 

We have assigned Committees.

Last Session was Pre Test. 

Our First Day of Inservice Course went on well.
